Rheinfall, Switzerland

As we started to rewind our photo archive collection we decided to share with you another amaizing experience – Switzerland, the fairy tale country.

In the next few rows we will try to make a short presentation about the Rheinfall waterfall.

In Switzerland there are so many amazing places to visit so we could not tell you if this is a must see tourist attraction, but we can warmly recommend it to visit.

The Rheinfall cannot be compared with Niagara or with other big waterfalls, but we can truly recognize that it has its own fascination and beauty.  
There is no best period to visit Rheinfall, every time period has a unique landscape. We took the chance to travel there in a sunny day of September and to tell you the truth, we didn’t regret a thing.

Beyond this, there is the possibility to visit Wörth castle which is located right above the waterfall. Since we took all the time to admire the waterfall we had almost no chance and no time to be overwhelmed by the castle.

With all our regrets we can’t give you too much information about it, just a few pictures that can be seen below.

If you really want to see and to “feel ” the Rheinfall closer, you will never regret taking one of the 6 boat trip along and near to waterfall(the prices on the panel are dating from 2012).
The boats seems to be fragile(its just an appearance) they can easily take on board up to 30 people.

After the taking the boat trip don’t forget to discover the platforms which are built on both sides of the Rhine and are available for a better and spectacular viewing of the falls.

Don’t worry about getting wet, the joy of getting a really silk and soft splash on your cheeks will erase all your fears(but don’t forget about your camera, unless it’s waterproof).

The Rheinfall waterfall is located between two towns: Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen –Uhwiesen from Canton of Schaffhausen and Canton of Zürich, and can be easily accessed by car or even public transport(regional train).
